The service and food was delicious. They are under new management. Give it a try. I enjoyed a seafood soup lunch special and my friend loved her green curry. They let us stay and talk for quite a while after we finished our meal.

Great red curry!! Ambiance was nice. Wallpaper was cool (but uneven to my ocd brain.) Service was great. Would return back

Food is excellent. Service is great. Ask for recommendations. The owners are very willing to help.

I'm from Thailand and this is my go to Thai spot. They have the authentic Pad Se-ew with charred eggs and noodles which is my favorite. Tastes like home! The owners and staffs are very nice. Highly recommended

Solid four stars! Went there for lunch, the owners are so friendly making sure you have anything you need. I ordered the chicken with red curry, it was really delicious. They gave me spring roll on the side accompanied by rice and I enjoyed every bit of it, I will definitely be back.

Siam Smiles can easily be missed as it is a small restaurant in a small shopping center. The location does not seem to stop them because they get countless online orders and have plenty of waves of dine in patrons. The food is good and enjoyed everything I ate. The vegetable spring rolls were good and the best ones I've had compared to other Thai places in the area. I also tried a papaya salad for the first time and I enjoyed it. I also tried the drunken noodles and pad thai. Both were good but the mild spice has a tiny kick to eat which at times distracted from the culinary experience. I will be coming back.

Really good Thai food. I came here on a Sunday and it was very quiet. It's important to note that they close for lunch around 1:30. The food tends to be on the spicier side so I think it's best to play it safe and order mild and then ask for extra spice on the side. The service was great.

Our first visit to Siam Smiles was this evening. I'm so glad we had dinner here. It's such a cute place! Has a nice vibe for a lunch, dinner or date night. The service was also great. Seems to be a family business and we had a nice conversation with the owner as well. He came out to greet us and ask if we enjoyed our visit. Absolutely!!! We had unsweetened ice tea, duck buns, shrimp roll, crispy chicken pad Thai and pad khing. All highly recommended!!! Don't wait stop by this local spot! The owner we spoke with has been with the business for 1 year. When we went for an early Sunday dinner each and every table was filled with happy customers before we left. Also the take out was moving from that kitchen! Everything we had was hot, fresh and tasty.

I've passed by this restaurant so many times but never checked it out till this past weekend. The food is very authentic and they are able to make the entrees without fish sauce etc which was important for me being vegetarian. The staff is very welcoming and friendly and I thoroughly enjoyed my drunken noodles, my go to dish at all Thai restaurants!

BEST AUTHENTIC THAI RESTAURANT IN NJ! New ownership as of fall 2022, and Thai lovers this restaurant is a must go to! I've tried so many Thai restaurants in NJ, and this place is by far the best one I've been to! The owners are warm and welcoming here too. So far I had the Mango chicken dinner, Pla Sam Rod, and Salmon in Choo Chee Curry. All the dinners were DELICIOUS! If you never tried Choo Chee Curry you have to try it! It's a sweet and creamy curry, and it tastes AMAZING! If you want salmon or shrimp instead of the red snapper it comes with on the menu they can make it with the seafood of your choice. Make sure you try their Thai iced tea here. It's so good! I absolutely love Siam Smiles. I Highly recommend dining at Siam Smiles in Matawan!
